Once you have completed your drawing and generated code, you can use the simulator to test the drawing. While simulating, you have the ability to manually enter I/O point values and change other variables in your drawing. To enter debug mode, click the green bug icon. The drawing you currently have open will be the drawing you are about to simulate. The dialog boxes on the left will be replaced with a register/object watch list and live connect information. Be sure to select the hardware model your drawing is intended to run on using the drop list below the object watch list, noted as Interpret for Device Model. You will be able to simulate your program using generic settings, but to get the full support of bounds checking for your particular hardware model, select the correct model name.
