You could temporarily modify input/output values by editing variables in the data dialog that appears when you click on a function block. However, if you want the input register value to be retained, use the watch list on the left to make that change. Registers or objects will be automatically added to the watch list as they are encountered in program simulation. To change an input value, click on the register or object name in the list. It will appear in the change window. Edit the value, and click Set. Note that we only mention changing input registers. You can change output registers, but they will be modified again the next time the output function block is executed. If a desired register is not in the watch list, simply type it into the add/change window, and click Get. It will be added. To remove an item from the watch list, double-click the item in the list. To clear the entire list, click Clear Watch List below the list. Your watch list will be saved when you exit i.CanDrawIt. If you open a different drawing later, and the watch list does not apply, click Clear Watch List to begin a new list.
