Adding Text and Annotations Any amount of arbitrary text may be placed for documentation, and adding notes. Click on the text tool. The text tool options box will appear. Type in text to be placed. The text will appear at the mouse. Left-click the mouse to place the text. Right-click the mouse or press Escape to drop the tet tool.
Drawing tools are available for placing arbitrary shapes on the drawing for illustration and documentation purposes. These objects have no effect on the program generated. They are for appearance only. Although the example illustrated below is probably silly, it illustrates the flexibility of the polygon tool.
You can also place a single line using the "polygon" tool. Place the first line segment, then Right-click. The dialog shown below will pop up. Select "Finish polygon". You will see that you can also cause the line segment to arc. You can switch back and forth between arc in, arc out, and free (straight) line with each new segment placed. With a little pactice, you will find you can draw an entire logic And gate with a single polygon draw.
The title block appearing in the lower right corner of your drawing is a predefined block. To access the title block, select Design Details from the file menu.
The design details dialog provides for filling in the areas of the title block (or selecting to not display it in the event you wish to create your own manually). The Guides tab allows you to turn on/off the guides printed on the edge of the drawing.
The above dialog will result in a title block that looks like this on your drawing:
