The Options menus provide the ability to modify various properties of the i.CanDrawIt environment.
The Settings dialog includes three tabs as illustrated below. Most of the settings are largely self-explanatory.
The auto-snap wires will avoid placing wires that appear to be connected, but are off by a distance too small to be seen without zooming in. Auto-drag wires will avoid disconnecting function blocks when you move them. Auto-place junctions is simply a convenience to reduce the number of mouse clicks needed on a typical drawing.
The colors menu allows modifying the appearance of the drawing.
The reference painter and certain other placement features will automatically increment or decrement numbers as you continue to use the feature. You can select decrement instead if you wish.
You have the option of turning off specific toolbars. If you rarely or never use tools like buses, you can turn them off and unclutter the tool set if you like. You can also drag the various toolbars around and re-order them if you wish.
