Every drawing begins with placing some function blocks, followed by connecting them. You do not have to place all function blocks at once. You can place two or three, connect them, then place more. You do not have to assign function block numbers or fill in any parameters right away. You can come back and do that later if you wish. To place a function block, click on the name of the function block in the list below libraries. Only those function blocks found in selected libraries will appear. Once you select a name, its graphical symbol will appear in the symbol picker window. Click on the symbol and place it.
