Welcome to i.CanDrawIt® graphical programming
for Building Automation and Facility Management.

The first time you open the i.CanDrawIt program, there will most likely not be any libraries showing in the library window illustrated below. Your iCanDrawIt folder should be at the root level of your C (or other) drive. It should not be in My Documents. Included in the iCanDrawIt folder, you should find a folder named iCanDrawItLibs. This is where your libraries will be found.

Libraries that have been selected for your use will appear in the libraries window as illustrated below. Here we see three of the standard libraries, Control, Logic, and Math. You have the option of showing one library at a time, or showing all or any combination of libraries. All function blocks found in all libraries selected will appear in the list below.

Click on the Libraries button (or select from the Library meny) to get the Library Setup dialog. Here you can add, remove, or edit libraries. Click on a library name, whose full path is shown, then click the appropriate button on the right, or just click Add.

When you click Add, the file Open dialog will appear. This time you are looking for *.mdb files. These are the library database files. They should be located in the iCanDrawItLibs subdirectory, although they are not required to be in this directory. Click on the library to be added, then click Open. It will then appear in the Library Setup dialog above.
